I've been buying bits and pieces over the last month or so , I got the seats and re coloured them with TVR magnolia leather dye from the furniture clinic , then the plenum and rocker covers , I stripped and painted them to match the car . The carbon trumpets came from ACT , some of the other bits came from the NEC car show and I ordered the shocks about 2-3 weeks ago .

Let us know how you like the Gaz dampers - they are on my radar for my build. Are they adjustables?

Pete
The rears are hight adjustable , the fronts are not , I was put onto Derek buy the guys that run Gaz , he was something to do with them or still is ' i'm not sure of the full story but he knew a lot about the suspention on the wedges . I told him I thought it was to high at the front and he said he knew what I needed as he had supplied lowered springs for wedges before. They all have the rebound adjustment on them too.

Nice job. Looks like one of those expensive coatings.
Thanks , I did it in my shed with the heater on over the coarse of a few nights. I have used this method before and seemed to last . I don't think i'll lacquer them as its metallic paint & im pretty sure you have to rub metallic paint back with 1200 paper before lacquer is applied to get a glossy finish and with so much detail I don't think its possible.

Well like I say , I done it on an old Essex V6 & they do get hot ,the paint was fine for 6 months and then I sold it , the only marks on the paint was what I had done whilst working on the engine .

The carbon plenum trumpets and the pipe were all from ACT products , just under £300 the lot delivered . The fella there was very helpful . 10 bhp apparently .

Shocks fitted today ' had to drill two holes in the boot to get the old ones off & new ones fitted . While doing the front it was noticed that there was a crack in the chassis, the box section part where the bottom arm locates . Welded now and is solid!
