Some 8 and a half years after selling my last Wedge (long story - new baby and had to sell to buy the missus a family car - well my daughter turned 9 last Sunday, so...), today I bought another which I am collecting next weekend. I have done the deal with Gary "billynobrakes" Judd to buy the blue Series 2 350i he's called "Priscilla". It's a mechanically very sound car with very low miles, many new parts and a chassis in great condition - just needs some cosmetic tidying here and there, but nothing serious or in immediate need of rectification. All of which means, it's ready to use and enjoy!
I hope Gary won't mind me sharing one of his photos as, like a numpty, I completely forgot to take any today!
I have spoken to Zig and I'll be at BBWF this year (I'll send the form in the morning - promise!) and look forward to meeting my fellow Wedgers! It's been a long time coming...

Your new Wedge looks great!
Do you still work in Marden?
I used to enjoy seeing and hearing your old one coming and going whilst at work.
Will I be hearing more V8 goodness soon..?
Good luck with it anyway.
Martin.
Thanks Martin. Yes, still in Marden so look (listen!) out for me on sunny (and not icy) days...Do you still work in Marden?

Hi Rick, I sold 'Priscilla' to Gary. I like you bought one about 10 years ago and couldn't resist the urge to get another.
'Priscilla' is a very sound car with excellent chassis and full stainless exhaust and manifolds. I had the headgaskets and water pump replaced for Gary and the engine checked over (cam, valves, bores etc) and all were in very good order. Gary has since replaced all the tired mechanicals so I think you've bought a terrific car there.
Go ahead and enjoy the Wedge experience all over again!!!
Thanks Roger. Gary has been very upfront and honest about the car. His enthusiasm for the TVR brand shines through and it is always a more 'comfortable' purchase when dealing with people such as him. And yes, he's left me very little to do on the mechanical side!'Priscilla' is a very sound car with excellent chassis and full stainless exhaust and manifolds.
