280i - Running a new fuel line - where?
Discussion
I'm going the have to replace at least the flow fuel line. The existing rubber line is zip-tied to the lower rail of the centre chassis spine, so it's quite near the left hand exhaust pipe. I'm thinking of running a new copper pipe down the left out-rigger and then into rubber once the line needs to bend into the engine bay. Another option is to follow the route of the existing fuel pipe, but continue the copper line all the way to the front of the engine bay and then bring it up underneath the fuel distributor making the final connection with rubber. Any thoughts on which route would be best?
