hi there

anyone know where I can get hold of the 2 long bolts that go through the power steering bracket, through the water pump and onto the timing cover, as I'm having great problems in sourcing them, since snapping them off trying to change the waterpump

Oh well gives me time to clean the rest of the area up now

Nah, they were not much use, and couldn't even find a gasket that would fit. Still trawling the internet for more sources

Well managed to source the 4 odd length bolts from a great Co called Aidpac Stainless for £12 and they actually delivered the next day as they said they would

Just got to fit it all and then see what other damage is done. Still looking for the replacement engine and looking at a 4.5 replacement one soon

Thanks for that, they were not stainless as I wanted normal bolts and not show bolts. Good job too by the sounds of it as the last lot were a pain as it was. Greased them up with copper grease before fitting them

Took her out for a spin today to test for leaks etc and all seemed good. Even seemed to have power there so no permament damage done from over heating - well none apparent.

Engine looking good now as cleaned / painted bits I could get too. Will try post pics sometime
