Anyone know a good tyre garage that could do tracking or even 4-wheel alignment, near Cardiff.
Used to use a garage near Taffs Well but they had a funny attitude last time I called, so I tried a new place in Caerphilly.

They got the tyres in for me at a great price but couldn't get any of their jacks beneath the Chimaera - too low.
Anyone any ideas ?

not used them myself but have heard that Garth Tyre & Auto Services in Gwaelog y Garth near Taffs Well are good and will take care of your rims without damaging them, as for 4 wheel alignment, I use Avia Autos on Bridgend Ind Est, Bridgend. Andy certainly knows his stuff down there and will talk you through what and why he makes certain adjustment, totally transformed the way my car handled after I bought it, In fact I'm booked in this sat as a very large pothole has knocked mine out, they were recently in the running for best small garage in the uk(didn't win but in the top 5) plus you get free tea/coffee whilst you wait and they have an American Diner on site, their Waffles are to die for... :-)
Just spoke to a lovely lady at Avia but sadly they couldn't get Toyo T1Rs in for me for some reason ?

Tried Windway and they can get the tyres. 4-wheel alignment would be £50 with an extra £10 per wheel for camber if necessary, so could add up quite a bit ! Seems that's the going rate though.

Going to try A&A as they can do the lot and have 3D camera alignment.

Thanks for all the advice guys.

Bit of feedback to you all about A & A. Went there today with the Chimaera and had a great experience.

They were really careful with the car, asked me where I was happy with the to jack it, were really careful with the wheels etc

Several of them came over and were clearly very interested in cars, asked to looked in the engine bay and other details about the car. One guy offered to double check the torque on the shock absorber bolts that I had fitted last weekend after I said, wish I'd brought my torque wrench down.

Then a couple of them came to the door to listen to the engine and watch me hurridely putting my roof back on as it was beginning to hail.

Good team they have down there with a passion for what they do. Thanks for the recommendation.
