Elan Vally Run 17th April

Hi All

Its time that we all got together to blow the cobwebs off the Cars.
So if your interested lets all meet at Junction 30 services off the M4 at 9:30am, Leaving at 10am heading to the second meeting point at the horseshoe Bend towards Brecon on the A470 Sunday 17th April.

So normal rules apply!! This is not a Race its a gathering of like minded Folk that would like to enjoy the roads,the view and the cars. Any Bad behaviour will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave the drive, we need to respect other road users, each other and others pride and joy.
Route handed out on the day.

Once we are at the Elan Valley we will find a spot to stop, have a chat take some good photos from the Ground and the Air, using a Drone and professional photographer.
Please Note this will be Weather Permitting, so fingers crossed this a nice sunny day. The drone does not like the rain.

Below is the current list, unfortunately I have had to contact GazzaMogzy, as he has put down a motorbike as his transport. I don't want to discriminate, but due to the obvious risks involved im certainly not comfortable having a motorbike on the run. im sure some will share my concerns and some will not, however being the organiser im personally not comfortable with it. Maybe I should have added it to the first post, but I feel we cannot have a mix of motorbikes and cars for safety purposes I certainly don't want someone getting hurt or having an incident.
I have asked Gareth "Gazzamogzy" to bring a car if he would like to attend, However would any one be willing to take him as a passenger, if so please get in touch.

Apologies for any disappointment caused to Motorbike riders wishing to attend.

Hi All

Just a Quick update hope you all get to read this, it has dawned on me that with the numbers we have the Elan Vally may not be the best location, as parking at the Elan Vally is a bit limited.
So with that in mind the route may not enter the Elan Vally. however it will still be an Enjoyable drive.

Gentle reminder to Fuel before attending, there will be a fuel stop half way into the Run.

Hi All

Thanks for attending the drive yesterday, I hope you all enjoyed the roads and the day.
I will see what drone footage i have to see what i can cobble together. fingers crossed.

Sorry that Terry the burger wagon owner was so Rude to anyone attending. I did inform him politely that it was Public land and we will only be staying a short time, however this was meet with Aggression and colourful language that was not appropriate to get the desired result he so yearned for. I Guess he got up on the wrong side of the bed.
I will ask that we don't Toll him or respond, as the chap does have a living to keep as he did tell me several times.
I guess it speaks volumes when your customers have to calm you down, and communicate in a polite manner to get the job done.
Apologies to any bikers that may have been trying to leave at this time, but im sure some may have enjoyed seeing the fantastic collection of cars on the day.
I guess we will use the layby further down the road next time.

Fingers Crossed no one got Zapped by the Scamera Van.
