Hi,

I've got to be in the West End for 9.30 on a weekday. I could get the 6.30 train which means a taxi at 6 (to be safe) which means getting up at 5.30 which I don't really fancy. Or I could drive to somewhere like Epping and get a train or tube from there. I like driving, I don't like trains so recomendations for a NE London station with a car park thats likely to have spaces at around 8.30 please.

Thanks

I'm not mad! I've driven and trained to and from London many times and used to live just east of the City and will happily drive all the way in on a Sunday. I'm not a good early morning person. The car would allow me to stay in bed for an extra hour and then be comfee and Radio 4. I do enjoy early morning longer distance drives which in my car, which, when you are used to a 15 minute commute in Mrs Shoestring's Yarris diesel, become an "adventure" more than a "chore".
