Hello

Here are the details of this year's Late Summer Run
The date of the run is Sunday 29th of September

Another slight change to the route and end point this year. The morning leg will still finish at as usual at High Lodge in Thetford Forest, but afternoon tea will be at the award winning La Houge farm shop and café in Chippenham.

And as per normal lots of great driving roads in between covering Cambridge, Suffolk and Norfolk.

There will be two start points, one in Cambridge and one in Norwich. Each group will drive to the meet up point in Thetford for lunch with another run afterwards.

Start point 1
Cambridge - Led by me
Meeting at Milton Tescos near Cambridge
MAP LINK HERE
9am for 9:15 (ish) start

Start point 2
Norfolk - Led by Darren (iluvmercs)
Meet at Norwich Airport McDonald's
MAP LINK HERE
Many thanks to PHEA member KevF allowing us to use his parking space thumbup
Time - 9:15am meet, 9:30am start.

Lunch stop will be at High Lodge in Thetford Forest http://www.forestry.gov.uk/highlodge
There is a car parking charge of £2.10 per hour per car, they take cash and card.

You can either bring a picnic or eat in the café.

We should be at High Lodge at about 11:30 if anyone wishes to join us there.

After lunch we'll leave by 1pm (latest) and split in to groups (of about 10 cars) to drive cross country to La Houge near Newmarket http://www.lahogue.co.uk. They have a nice café with tea and cakes smile and lots of local produce.
I have spoken to Chris the owner and he said they should be able to sort us out with a designated parking area there so we can all park together smile

Oh and everybody is welcome whether you drive a Murciélago or Metro smile

Depending on the number of people we have signing up I will be looking for some addition group leaders. Route maps will be supplied along with TomTom files so PM me if you are interesting in leading a group.

Pop your name down if you would like to attend

Re petrol

The nearest to High Lodge is the BP in Brandon

On the map link below, we will approach from "A". The main group not needing fuel will turn right on to Green Road. If you need to fill up I'd suggest you turn left on to Rattlers Road to the BP station, "B" on the map and then continue on the High Lodge, "C" on the map.

https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=Bury+Rd%2FB11...

Hope that makes sense smile
