PHEA VISIT & PUB MEET: AT Power - Sunday 30th November
Discussion
Evening all!
While the Show and Run season may be over, I see that as no reason not to get together for Chats, Food, and perhaps a Visit to some place of automotive interest.
So, on Sunday 30th November, I have booked a pub lunch at The Angel, Larling followed by a Visit to AT Power in Wymondham, Norfolk.
AT Power are a throttle body manufacturer who engineer throttle bodies, for all kinds of vehicles. They machine on site, and can design, prototype and manufacture. Throttle bodies are created for race series, tuning companies and individual custom projects from all around the world.
It may be small, but the place certainly filled with the know-how and capability to engineer some wonderful products.
We shall meet at 11:30am on Sunday 30th November at The Angel in Larling, Norfolk - MAP LINK HERE
I have booked for 12 people for lunch, but have been told I can revise the figure nearer the time.
To help out the pub, please could you take a look at their Menu and if possible provide me with a pre order - CLICK HERE for the Menu
Additionally there will be a choice of Roast - Most likely Pork, Beef, Duck and maybe Lamb.
We shall sit down at 12 noon and I plan to leave the pub by 2pm.
We shall then convoy up to AT Power in Wymondham, reaching them about 2:30pm - MAP LINK HERE
Those who attended the PH Sunday Service at Zenos Car may recognise the location, as it's on the same industrial estate.
I have spoken to the company owners who have said we can have a look around, find out about their processes and receive a little talk about the company, their business and engineering creations.
A bit of info can be found on AT Power's Website: CLICK HERE
The day will likely end 3:30-4pm.
You are free to attend either or both parts of the day, just please let me know
If you are attending the Pub Meet, a pre order would be helpful for the pub.
So, if you fancy a Meet and a Visit to a place of automotive interest, just let me know on this thread.
Alternatively, you can "Join" the Event on our Faceook Page HERE
Your remaining option is to email me through my profile.
I look forward to seeing you there!

Pre order sent in.
A couple of things I should put out there.
I didn't realise they were after a specific meat choice with the roast, so what they have done is put everything "Roast" down as Beef.
Their other choices this Sunday are Lamb and half a Norfolk duck (£1 surcharge).
If you fancy something other than Beef, you can change your meat choice on Sunday. If you could let me know in advance, that would be a great help but not esstential
Also the publican said a person phoned up mentioning coming along as part of our group. He didn't get a name and the caller didn't know me.
So if that was you, and you'd like to join us, please could you post on here or message me, so we can solve the mystery
See you all on Sunday!

Thank you to everyone who turned out yesterday for a wonderful day out!
14 of us came out for a lovely lunch at The Angel in Larling, followed by a short drive to AT Power where we met with enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable staff who create some wonderful oil pumps and throttle bodies among other super products. The craftsmanship is excellent!
I confess I am not hugely knowledgeable with the intricacies of their creations. I found it fascinating for just that reason. I absolutely loved it!
Top marks to AT Power for the warm welcome followed with an enjoyable talk and tour. Thank you so much guys.
As ever with the Events, feedback in any form is welcome to help me improve the experience for you all
Next up, the PHEA Christmas Dinner on Sunday 14th December - Thread HERE
Hopefully see you again soon
