PHEA Nosh: Christmas Dinner - Sunday 14th December

Good morning everyone!

Following an enjoyable and successful day out at AT Power, I now announce the FINAL Meet of 2014.

This year, we are returning to The Angel in Woodbridge - MAP LINK HERE
The wonderful pub is owned and run by fellow PH Member Chris Mapey, who will be accommodating us with fine seasonal food on Sunday 14th December.

Can we please meet at 12:30pm for 1pm sit down.
There will be a £5 deposit, payable to me on the day.

I will require a pre order of your food choices, please.

The Menu

The Angel said:

starter
homemade creamy tomato soup with herb croutons
or
homemade gravadlax with a lemon dill mayo & dressed leaves
or
smoked chicken filo parcels with aioli and a dressed leaf salad
or
prosciutto with warm ciabatta, hummus and a parmesan salad

main course
roast locally sourced turkey with roast potatoes, pigs in blankets & all the trimmings.
or
proctor’s essex sausages, mash, garden peas & a rich onion gravy
or
baked cod fillet “en papillotte” with a moroccan cous-cous,
served with a fresh vegetable medley
or
homemade mushroom, aubergine, goats cheese & red onion stack with new potatoes
& fresh vegetable medley

pudding
Christmas pudding, with brandy butter & double cream
or
angel sloe gin trifle
or
homemade dark chocolate brownie, with Chantilly cream
or
Selection of local cheeses, served with crackers & chutney

two courses £17.95 per person
three courses £19.95 per person

11 of us made it The Angel in Woodbridge for a tasty meal. Such an excellent atmosphere and great company - real fire, laid back with random chat. What better way is there to spend a lazy Sunday?
I can't quite believe I didn't leave Woodbridge until 10:30pm!
