PHEA RUN & MEET: Winter Norfolk Run - Sunday 1st March
Discussion
Good evening everyone.
I wish to announce to First Event in the PHEA Calendar 2015!
We see the return of the Winter Norfolk Run, which this year is held on Sunday 1st March.
Meeting at Sainsbury's in Thetford ( CLICK HERE for MAP), there will be an all new route.
We shall Meet at 10am, departing 10:30am.
This year's Lunch Stop will be The Lodge in Old Hunstanton - MAP LINK HERE
CLICK HERE for The Lodge's Website.
I have booked lunch for 12:30pm
Could you please indicate how many places you will need for lunch.
UPDATE (21.02.15):
Because of the large group, Lunch Choice will be restricted to a choice of ROAST DINNER ONLY: Pork, Beef or Chicken.
No need to decide in advance, but I wish to make you aware of these changes.
The day will end approximately 4:30pm in the North Norfolk area, depending on traffic and lunch.
The Run will go ahead no matter the weather, short of heavy snow!
You can join us for any part of this Run, or even just for Lunch but please could let me know
As ever, maps and instructions will be handed out on the day.
With plenty planned for 2015 (the Calendar will be released very soon!), please join us to kick off the year!
No matter what your pride'n'joy, nor how long you've been a PHer, why not spend a day blowing out those winter cobwebs in the company of fellow PHers
Please get your name down on this thread, or you can message me directly.
Alternatively, please "Join" the Event on our Facebook Page HERE
We hope to see you on the 1st March!

LUNCH UPDATE:
Once again, could I please ask that if you would like lunch, to please let me know as soon as possible.
There are 20 confirmed for lunch, an additional 5 as "maybe".
The pub would like a maximum of 30.
After the wonderfully overwhelming response on Facebook, (for which I thank you all!), my booked lunch places will be have to be on "first notified" basis.
So if you'd like lunch, please let me know
Thank you!

LUNCH UPDATE:
I still have a FULL LUNCH LIST, however I have had the pub request a smaller menu for such a large group with no pre order.
So we will have a choice of Roast Dinner ONLY: Beef, Pork or Chicken.
No need to pre-decide which Roast, but just to make you aware it will be ROAST ONLY.
Please update me if your attendance for the Run or Lunch alters :-)
Many thanks!

LUNCH UPDATE 2:
Afternoon everyone.
The is message for those who are having Lunch.
The pub has contacted me regarding the lunch.
With so many of us wishing to have their roast dinners, for speed and ease, they have requested we have just one option, which will be Beef.
So, Lunch will be BEEF ROAST ONLY.
I apologise for any inconvenience, but the venue has been accommodating beyond their normal service to fit us all in.
Should you have any specific requirements, or perhaps a choice from children's menu, please could you let me know in advance.
Children's Menu can be FOUND HERE
We can have a lovely lunch, served quickly and we get out to enjoy the roads for longer :thumbip:
Please could you also keep me updated if your attendance alters :-)
If not, see you on Sunday!
Many thanks,
Darren

What a start to the PHEA Events 2015!
Thank you to everyone who came out on the Winter Run.
I'm pretty sure I spoke to everyone, but if not hopefully chat with you at the next Event.
Plenty of PHEA Newbies, so welcome to you all!
And the seasoned PH veterans.....you knew what to expect
The weather was amazing and the roads were excellent despite the occasional Sunday Driver. A couple of those roads I've never driven on, but will certainly use again!
I handed out 40+ of the Instructions, so the fact we all largely stayed together was fantastic! Thank you!
I thoroughly enjoyed the roast, so hopefully those who ate at the pub enjoyed it also. I can't quite believe the under hour turn around for lunch, considering how busy they were!
The final drive to Cromer was again enjoyble, if a little slow right at the end from Sheringham.
A diverse selection of cars with superb human company made for a great day out and a wonderful start to the 2015 PHEA Calendar year. Again, thank you!
Any feedback is always welcome to help us improve the experience for the next one!
I hope the Trans Am wasn't stuck on the side of the road for too long after your wheel bolt issue after the Run
Noteable non-PH Run bits:
Before Kidders turned off, having a bit of fun with the little Fiesta ST pocket rocket!
My RS4 became a little frisky when she saw a brand new 15-reg RS4 and so had to play.
A tremendous unexpected Run with a 911 Turbo back to Norwich.
Finally, my photos - CLICK HERE
Thank you again for making a wonderful First PHEA Event of 2015!
The next Event is the Rolling Road Day - Forum Thread HERE

I completely missed you for sure! Sorry!
I have a thing for cars and usernames.....but people and real names are a usually more of a challenge
I was the big ginger guy in a white hoodie and jeans clambering out of the Audi.
I saw your car arrive, but leave before I managed to wander down that way.
Hopefully see you at the next one
