Good afternoon everyone.

Following the Event announcements of Cars on the Green HERE and the next Snetterton Summer Wednesday Meet HERE, our following Event is our annual Snetterton 300 Track Day, which this year is on Wednesday 15th July

It is an MSV Trackday under their "General Track Day" format - Details for these Events can be FOUND HERE.
Signing on for these Events usually begins around 7:30am with a driver's briefing 8:30.

The standard price is £179. However, there is an Early Bird Discount, making the price £159.
Assuming we get good attendance, there is also the possibility of an ADDITIONAL 10% Discount on either price for PHEA Members. We have achieved this easily in previous years, so hopeful we can do it again smile
To get this addition discount, when booking, just mention "Fast Eddy’s Dealer Day"
It is up to MSV when the Early Bird Discount price ends, so the earlier you can book, the better.
However, even at the standard price, it is cheaper than last year's Event!

One of our members, Fasteddy, has also been able to again use his past experience and contacts to secure Exclusive Use of the Archie Scott Brown Facility and Garages for PHEA - this is situated at the end of the pit lane.
This means we have our own entrance/exit for the track, along with our own marshal and of course our own private space for storage of tools, fuel, etc.
We will also supply some snacks and drinks in our own lounge and kitchen facilities.
All this makes for a special Track Day experience with a VIP atmosphere.

When booking, all you need to do is quote "Fast Eddy's Dealer Day". It is best to book over the phone directly with MSV using the number at the bottom of the MSV web page for the 15th July Track Day HEREsmile
Payment is not usually taken until nearer the time once final numbers are known, but please book as soon as possible so we know the numbers - we'll also know how many tea bags to bring wink

So if you fancy attending a well-priced Trackday with PHEA, please join us for another TRACK Event!
Once booked, please let me know by either posting on here or emailing me directly.

What a super Event! Thank you again to fasteddy for organising it all and supplying lunchtime nibbles.

Thanks to everyone who turned out to support us for a great day lapping a wonderful circuit.
I counted 14 of us thumbup

Morning drizzle gave way to afternoon sunshine. Pros and cons to that one with the Audi.

Hopping in and out of a few of your cars was great fun!
Mike, the difference between last year's stock GT86 and what you have now is astonishing. Excellent starting point, now something exceptional! You need to keep the traction control off, though wink
I missed going out with Gary and also with that mental Skyline.
I even missed a go in an MX5 (I can't quite believe this, as there were so many! biggrin ). Still, there's always next year.

Shame there were a few red flags, and unfortunate that one was for the GT86 - I hope she's back to full health soon!
I even managed a "track limits" warning flag for using some grass (albeit fake!). You can't stop a quattro Audi if it wants to rally.

Ivan, I enjoyed track day shedding. Great fun. And yes, I want a robot to mow my lawn.

I hope all those who came out with me didn't mind a few slower laps in a lardy saloon.
My car held up very well. The new upgraded brake pads and fluid worked a treat. Just a clean and she's ready for more track work next week! driving
2 tanks of fuel burnt over approximately 48 laps giving a precise 10.0 MPG - How German!

I snapped a few photos, which you can FIND HERE.

Also, I shot a video towards the end of the day and managed to get a few of you on video. I'll post a link when I've uploaded it.

Our next Event is Helmingham Hall on 2nd August, details for which will be posted very soon!

There were a few M3s out on track the other day. Any idea which generation it is? There was a matt coloured E46 tanking round. Even had a few smokey braked moments.

I've now put up my video on the Youtube.
It's taken almost 24 hours of uploading (yes it really did!), so I hope this will work!

Please forgive the odd rattle - that was down to my cable tie tether solution, which even makes a brief appearance in the video!

It's 22 minutes from right at the end of the day.
A few laps mainly with fasteddy's Brabus Smart, however a good number of you make an appearance.

Enjoy!

laughbiglaughrofl

It does sound a little sinister and I am not really sure why I did laugh. Perhaps I was pleased that for once I was in a car which could out drag you, so in that respect I shall go with answer "a" from above.
