PHEA RUN: The (Really) Late Summer Run - Sunday 18th October

Just wanted to get this date in your diaries. [edit] times and locations now confirmed![/edit]
The run will be similar to previous year's with two start points, one in Cambridge and one in Norwich. Each group will drive to the lunch meeting point, for well, lunch , with another run afterwards.

Cambridge - Led by me
Meeting at Milton Tesco near Cambridge

Norfolk - Led by Darren (iluvmercs)
Meeting at McDonald's car park near the airport

Lunch stop will be at Brandon Country Park (near Thetford) http://www.brandoncountrypark.co.uk
There is a car parking charge £1.30 for up to 2 hours and £2.50 for over 2 hours (don't think they take card so bring some change)

You can either bring a picnic or eat in the cafe
We should be at Brandon Country Park at about 11-11:30am if anyone wishes to join us there.
After lunch we'll split in to groups and drive cross country to La Hogue Farm Shop and Cafe http://www.lahogue.co.uk/ near Newmarket.
Everybody is welcome no matter what you drive (as long as you can safely keep up).
I will leading the Cambridge group inthe rocket bus a hairdresser's car and Darren will be leading the Norwich group.

Massively late but I thought I'd add my two pence.
Big thank you to everyone who turned up and continued despite the weather (although I don't blame Scranny and Spud for leaving at lunch)and special thank you to Darren and Doug for leading the groups.
The little Mini did OK (Pheasant didn't do any damage luckily, stupid birds!!) and I don't think I held anyone up too much but I miss the Scoob
Any feedback to the route, pace or length of the run is appreciated so we can improve it for next time.
