Following on from the success of Mays track event, we are already well into planning another one, scheduled for 17 and 18 September!

The format and track layout will be exactly the same as before, switching the direction of the circuit after lunch to allow drivers to experience two different courses, keeping you on your toes!

The website (www.MarhamTrackDay.co.uk) will be updated shortly with booking available. Please spread the word across the forums as we'd like to get a really good number at this one as it is RAF Marham's 100th Anniversary, so if we can think of something a bit more special to add, and can get away with it... we will!! :-)

  • Important, General info **
Please ensure you are at the main gate to book in 0630 - 0800.
Mandatory Drivers Safety Briefing 0830
Sat Nav - PE33 9NP.
NO Photo ID - No Entry - No Exceptions.
Motoring Groups/Clubs welcome.
Any issues/Questions, please use the 'Contact Us' section on the website.

So, PLEASE spread the word, see you in September!!!
Steve.
Marham Track Day Team.

Yes, sorry forgot to update this.... you can book/pay now!!

There is a 'Contact Us' section on the website (www.MarhamTrackDay.co.uk) or on this thread and we'll do our best!

If you good people could link this to any forums you are on, we would be most grateful!

Steve

Count me in! We've finally got to the bottom of the Cayman's brake issues, so it's time for another visit to the wilds of Norfolk.
I'm trying to persuade a Saaby mate to come along - are the Saab Mafia planning to attend?
I have posted up on the Saab forum so hopefully we'll get a few popping along!! I think the one that attended last time with the Scooby clashes with other commitments but we live in hope as they enjoyed it greatly!!

Hopefully you can coerce your mate!!

Hi, having trouble accessing the web site, server is unavailable apparently. Does the recent events have any bearing on the Septembers event do we know?
I'm not sure what's happened there, but no, it has nothing to do with recent events I'm happy to say.... everything is still very much full steam ahead!

Were you the one to email saying you couldn't book? I have replied to that email so please keep us informed if you encounter problems. I will get the web tech to have a look regardless.

Regards,
Steve.

Marham Trackday Team.

Im very much up for doing this! But im not sure what car I'll be in, would that be an issue?
Do you mean with regards to obtaining a pass? If so, then for the odd FEW cars no not really, all it means is we will need to book the car in on the day so please allow an extra 10-15 minutes for this.

What we most definitely need prior to the event is your personal details for the security checks so please enrol to reserve you place and put not known for vehicle details (or hedge your bets and pick one... if it's wrong you've not lost out!)

Regards,
Steve.

I've not received any info on how to log on to the website yet. Thanks smile
How do you mean sorry? I assumed you were all booked in/paid etc?

We don't normally put up participant lists, but if people want to copy and paste a list then fair enough and I can see if I can try to update it if and when I get time!

Steve.

There are still LOTS of places available for this event!!

Take up has actually been slower than for the previous events and we do need more participants!! If anyone is thinking about it but holding back to see what happens, then please get on the website and book soon, in case the numbers are too low to make the event viable as we will soon have bills to pay etc!!!

Anyone that has already booked or that may be put off, please don't as it should be good to go, we would just like to see more cars out on track and if we have to cancel for any reason, naturally everyone is refunded 100% of their entry fees!

Please spread the word, make it as busy as possible as there is only about a week left to book (we have to shut booking regardless to sort all of the security passes) and all profits go to very worthwhile charities!

Thanks!
RAF Marham Trackday Team.

Woooooo......We're booked in....ive booked 2 cars under 2 different email addresses, but as mentioned by someone earlier, i didnt receive and email confirmation or a receipt of payment.

Any ideas if this is normla, or have i been missed out?

Also, i booked my car with me and another driver, but we now have an extra driver coming, can i book him in and pay on the day? if so, how do i go about this please?
Ryan,

I've received your emails for the additional drivers and sent a reply. You have 2 cars both with 2 drivers, just pay the extra on the day and we'll issue you with a receipt.

If anyone has any problems or queries, please either ask on here or via the website as we closely monitor both!

Kind regards,
Steve.
RAF Marham Trackday Team.

Booked! Steve & Sue - MG ZR 160

I was thinking that 3 track days in under a week was a bit excessive, but then again, maybe not!

Err, It was a bit difficult to get through the booking process. I could not use my own email address as that was already registered, and there were no clues as to how you get past that hurdle. Are repeat bookings down?
Glad to see you back!!

I'm not sure what's gone on with the booking as you should have been able to use your original e-mail. If you are having issues, please contact us and we'll do what we can to help!

Would it be resizable to ask for a refund?
Sorry to hear this!
I will see what we can do. Normally it would be a no this close to the event as we have already paid for things like liability insurances etc. Can you come back to us after the event when things have settled down please?

Hi, can you email the details across on the 'contact us' section of the website please?!

You will need to pay for people going on the track on the day (in cash and we'll issue a receipt) please.

Thanks,
Steve.

Anybody else coming up from SW London? I'm planning to leave Putney around 4.30am on Saturday, and I'll head via Tower Bridge and the Limehouse Link to the M11 corridor.
There's a few from Essex so you might pick other cars up on the M11?
