You'll be pleased to hear that a date has now been chosen. I apologise for the unusually late notification, but I can now announce our annual Late Summer Run will be held on Sunday 23rd Octoberthumbup

Again I will have a Meeting Point in Norfolk. We shall stop for Lunch before carrying on in groups to the day's end point.

Norfolk Meeting Point

Our Lunch Stop will be Brandon Country Park in Suffolk - MAP LINK HERE
There is a car parking charge of £1.30 for up to 2 hours and £2.50 for over 2 hours. I don't think they take card so please bring some change.

After Lunch, we will split in to groups to continue to our Final Stop which is La Hogue Farm Shop & Cafe near Red Lodge, close to the A11. CLICK HERE for their website.
We should reach this final destination by 3pm.

As ever, all Route Instructions and Maps will be handed out at the Meet Points.

No matter what you drive, no matter how long you've been a PHer, all are welcome to join us to see out the Summer (or welcome the Autumn!).

All you need to do now is get your name down for our FINAL Run of 2016. Please remember to let us know from where you intend to start.

Please add your name to the list below or you can PM me through my profile.
Alternatively, you can Post on the Event Page of our Facebook Page

Again, I apologise for the very short notice, but I hope to see you on Sunday week driving

Thank you to everyone who joined us for another Late Summer Run.

Despite the very late notice (again I apologise for this), we had around 20 of us taking on some lovely roads in (mostly) dry Autumnal sunshine, save for a bit of rain in the morning.
We all managed to stay together for the most part, too!
Another wide variety of cars and superb human company really made for an excellent day out.

I had a couple of narrower sections which I may rethink (trouble is the alternative route is a tad boring!), and I hope next time we don't encounter an angry Mondeo Man or bizarre farm owners walking into the road!
The afternoon section was almost all Mark's previous years' doing, so thanks must go him - you were there in spirit, buddy! smile

Welcome to the newbies who joined us - please get in touch should you wish to be added to my mailing list thumbup

Feedback, whether positive or negative, is always welcomed as it only goes to help improve the next one!

As with all other Events this year, my photos will be uploaded in due course, after which I will post a link smile

I'm sorry to say that's it for Runs this year, but I plan to be back with another Winter Run at the beginning of 2017.
However we're not done with 2016 yet. Plans are afoot for something in November (subject to dates) and the Christmas Dinner is now confirmed for Sunday 18th December.

I hope to see you all again soon, and thank you again.
