This is awesome news!!!
Got lots of prep to do but should be able to make at least one of the days. If my plan comes together, both myself and my mrs should be there in my Saab 9000 and her scooby as we did last spring. But that's IF both are in rude health.
However, that weekend its just possible that we may have her little'un. Is there a lower age limit for entry, either just as a mini-pit crew helper or as a passanger also? She will be nearly 9 by then so if too young then I could try and see if grandparents still takes bribes lol.
You will be able to bring the little one with you, but will need to be supervised by an adult if both of you are out on track at the same time and obviously keep an eye on them around the pit lane because of the obvious dangers.Got lots of prep to do but should be able to make at least one of the days. With regards passenger laps, that's a no sorry, due to insurance stipulations our minimum age is 16.
It will be good to see you both back, hopefully not laid under one (or both) of the cars too much this time! Are any other Saab's coming? I know there's a few tasty 900's out there.

Hi
Do you have a list of cars going?
Will there be a drift session at any point?
We can put up a list of what's signed up, unless people would prefer to cut and paste?Do you have a list of cars going?

DRIFTING: It's a definite NO sorry! I am entrusted with the airfield strictly under the proviso that we look after it and drifting will chew it up badly.
Whilst we appreciate cars/drivers spin out when taken to the limit, deliberate loss of control that damages risks having the whole event cancelled ....and leaving me with a BIG insurance bill/headache!
Kind regards,
Steve.

I didn't know the big red/white barriers at the end of the straight were targets! I've been going about this all wrong
I'd prefer it if they weren't to be honest! We borrow the cones from Balfour Beatty so explaining why the lorry is less full on the Monday is always interesting! Hahaha Mind you, it's less to collect come Sunday evening.... 1000 cones is laborious!jayemm89 said:
Is there a noise limit on the day? My car is completely standard but loud enough to not be allowed on Snet/Bedford/etc....
Can't see anything about it on the website
We haven't had an issue yet with noise! Do you have any idea what sort of dB level it is?Can't see anything about it on the website
Usually, if it doesn't split your eardrums on idle it's fine and we're out in the wilds so no villagers to annoy. :-)

On the sighting laps for the last one, I was sandwiched between the RS6 and GTR.
When they both opened up into the first straight I'm sure my windows rattled. That's pillar-less doors for you
We previously had a Scooby with fibre glass doors/lexan windows on a high speed run who's doors rattled so much the passenger one flew off at well over 150mph. His wife..... who was in the passenger seat gave him a right earful apparently, and i'll bet that's not all she did seeing the runway markings zipping past!!When they both opened up into the first straight I'm sure my windows rattled. That's pillar-less doors for you
