NI/ROI Member's Summer Run 2013

This is a feeler after some noise on the 2009 run thread .

The idea would be something similar. A good run somewhere with maybe a stop for lunch and maybe some landmarks for those photographically minded.

All ears for routes and locations. There are some superb roads on this tiny island, north and south. Our only constraint is how far people are willing to travel. From Atlantic Drive in the North West, to the old rally stages in the South East, there's plenty of scope for a great day out.

How about the costal road from larne to ballycastle/the north? Some fantastic sections and great photo opportunities/car parks/layby's on the way!

Certainly no objections to that. Depends whether people really want to make a few hours of it or not though? You can cover a surprising distance on a Saturday/Sunday morning.

Myself and Will ran the last few NI PISTONHEADS events, we had a great run to Galway and weekend away one time.

Any reason you guys stopped? The thread linked in the first post was the last mention of anything I found (3 years ago) which inspired me to test the water with this.

And of course anything learnt from your experiences would be invaluable

I'm away with work for the next few days so will try hammer out a few routes for feedback in the evenings and perhaps we can go from there? A vote may even be the easiest?
