BMW Software Update

Can anyone recommend an Indie/speciaist that can carry out software updates on BMWs.

I have a 30k 2008 335D with the rather lumpy earlier version of the gearbox software and I would like to get it updated before considering any mechanical issues. I tried a Main dealer and got the usual "book it in for a diagnostic and we will take it from there" They refuse to even tell if they will update or not nevermind quote me.

I know Moto Fix and have spoken to them a while ago. They do not have the kit/software to do updates.

I will try the other two.
