Hi,

As it says in the title really. Looking to head out on a Saturday morning drive into Kent (start at 7ish and breakfast at
8:30ish ideally), taking a mate from out of town for a drive. Starting from SE London looking for nice drive and a nice place for a fry up. Doesn't have to be posh, just a great fry up!

Any suggestions for eateries or routes would be greatly appreciated!

I'm sure Sunday's are better for driving but restricted to Saturday due to commitments on Sunday.

Thanks!

Thanks Red Devil. I'm based out of Greenwich.

That route looks interesting. Will take a closer look at it.

Many thanks.

Cheers guys. Took the trip to Knox Bridge cafe. Slightly different route, but a good run nonetheless. Lovely breakfast there!!

Good recommendation Red Duke.

Now at Chapel Down Winery making unscheduled purchases!!

Car now extremely dirty smile

I've not been there for years, but friends have, and confirm the Knoxbridge cafe is still very good.

I last went to Rye a couple of weeks ago and fwiw Tenterden/Smallhyth Rd had some nasty potholes.

The B2089 via Udimore is the nicest way into Rye imho.
I can confirm the potholes! And plenty of them!!!

My mate had a pint of the curious brew. He liked it very much. Chapel Down is a lovely place. Came away with a few bottles...

Yes - the Deere was great. Real road presence!

Saw a similarly coloured Bentley. Actually saw it too closely! It almost hit me head on driving down the centre of a lane. Looked like a bit of a special car judging by the rear. Didn't look like the standard Continental GT.
