At last, today our physical Green cards arrived for my wife and I. It's been a long road, although not as long as some, but so pleased. It's been a lifelong ambition to live and work here and now I'm under no restriction. Previously I was on an L1-B visa.

For anyone that is interested:

Initial PERM application - November 14th 2014
I-140 & I-485 filed jointly - June 16th 2015
I-140 approved - October 13th 2015
I-485 approved - October 28th 2015
Green cards arrived November 4th 2015

Well done..
I started about 3 years before you and still waiting.
Had biometrics last month, now waiting for interview and advanced parole

Also on L1B, my 5 years are up at the end of November 2015. No leaving USA from then on until advanced parole approved. I have my form 797 giving general GC acceptance.

The waiting is the killer, although fully funded and handled by the company and their Attorney.

I even bought the 2015 Mustang GT to be ultra American...!
How come it is taking so long for you? Mine was also funded by the company. I was worried being EB3 that it would take years, but it seemed to go quite quickly. Agree the waiting in painful, especially when the company goes through layoffs!
