Anyone on her local to Didcot Power Station?
Discussion
They're blowing up the towers soon, and looking for a reasonable vantage point.
It's apparently 3am on 27th, so pictures are out, but I would still like to witness this spectacle.

eta: between 3 and 5am, so the later will be daylight presumably.

They have to do it at that kind of time due to the road and rail closures that are going to be required .

Against my better judgement I went along to watch this (as I also had to be down near Brighton at 11am), we were just along the B4493 from the A34 bridge and had a pretty good view. Just a shame they couldn't have just said it'd be at 5am from the beginning! I have some pics and a video which I'll try and post if I remember later.
I had a tweet from Mark Coleman who was running the show, who said that they would be making a decision at 3am to say what time they would be firing, but prior to that, there were certain factors which would influence the actual time.Gassing Station | Thames Valley & Surrey | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
