Due to selling a house with a double garage we're losing the current storage for 2 cars and 4 motorcycles. Does anyone know of any secure, dry storage around the area, preferably Reading-ish area but I'm prepared to be flexible?

I know I want the moon on a stick but a dedicated unit would be preferable to a shared user environment.

All help gratefully received! Thanks smile

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I've got some ringing around to do.

Some of the places recommended are offering a more comprehensive service than I really want or need, ie, booking in process with photo record, full valet, tyres inflated to 50psi, starting every month, etc, etc. Of course all of these extras cost too.

For us, having 6 vehicles to store in a barn/unit/warehouse is more expensive because each vehicle is individually chargeable whereas having a dedicated unit would be a fixed cost irrespective of how many vehicles were stored.

Sidekickdmr's idea is interesting but it's obviously a bit more involved. Would be interested to see how it develops.
