Horses and Traps on A33
Discussion
You could not make this up....
On the A33 yesterday (Swallowfield bypass) heading to Reading - two horses/traps having some trotting practice on the inside lane whilst two 4x4s towing horseboxes blocked both lanes behind them....
They went all the way from the Wellington roundabout up to the left turn to Beech Hill with a huge queue of traffic behind them.
Called the police who said that it not an uncommon occurrence.....

They are allowed to use the road, but when they cause a blockage, by the time we get there, it's all over and they've gone. When we get them in the act, we do deal with them, I've been involved in a few arrests during these races
I gave the reg numbers to the police - would a video help?Gassing Station | Thames Valley & Surrey | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
