Recently my driveway was graced by a nicely sign written van, that disgorged a bloke wearing a logo embroidered polo shirt and waving a brochure, purporting to have just delivered a load of their prime merchandise to a display at the Windsor Horse Show.
For some strange reason they had some left over and the driver's 'Dad' had told him to 'just get rid of it' at crazy prices.

Now this might have registered as a spot of good luck for gullible yours truly had I not have been visited by a different bloke in probably the identical van, spouting the same cobblers last year.

Just a heads-up. And who knew teak was perishable?
