Paint shop for classic car
Discussion
Hi all, another thread for the 1963 Humber Sceptre I'm restoring. I've had a look around for somewhere to paint the car but I'm having trouble.
Usually people with classics are after a really superb finish etc but at the moment I'm just looking for a lick of paint, with a budget of about £1,000. The car's current coat is very dull, after having sat for decades in a barn, and I just want to bring it up again rather than have a concours car. I've taken most of the car's brightwork off myself too, but I don't have the facilities to actually paint the thing myself.
Anyone know anywhere nearby? Ideally near Egham but the car has no engine at the moment so will need to be put on a trailer anyway, so I can travel a bit.
