Excellent 'tells it as it was' feature on G10.

(With some G11 mention) and piece on current LNT Ginetta company, all in latest issue of Motor Sport.

Chris Meek driving the recently restored G10 in which he wiped the floor against the low-drag ex-Protheroe E-type in 1965.

Has it been raced yet this season?
Not sure if it was entered in a recent 'gentlemans' race. Didn't notice it in the placings anyway.

G10 MotorSport mag bit, scroll down about halfway.

Can't make my mind up about the hardtop, doesn't look right imo. Think he has one of the front screens made by Spadge, thanks to the loan of mine. Wonder why they didn't keep 'original' with the soft top?

Bloody hell! (that's the second time I've said that on these threads in a few days!).
It was using my G11 screen that allowed that car to be finished... I didn't get a 'donation'!!
If I'd known it was the same Bamford I might have asked for one. A new screen seems to pale away now.

As for related to John Bamford (WRA) could be I suppose. 'Filthy Rich' Ginetta owners... there's a new one.

What're you putting in the rear screen gap - Perspex I suppose?

I'd like a 'proper' glass screen for my eleven, which is what should be there instead of the scratchy flappy plastic that needs replacing again.

There must be enough 'hardtops' around now to warrant some being made, but I suppose for racing nobody is interested in glass, apart from me.

Oh, and if you are wondering why mine never had a glass rear screen, previous owner sat on it and cracked it.

So they used three rear screens which look the same at a first glance, but aren't!
You've lost me there Geoff?
Or must I get more shuteye? I'm half asleep now!

Funny now I think back that I could have had the cracked rear original screen (why on earth would I want that I thought at the time).
Now there isn't one in existence (unless NWA survives and still has its original, or one sits alone among a stack somewhere. There was moons ago a G11 front screen at Charles Pugh Glass but somebody had it, or it was dumped).

I seem to remember the 10/11 Coupe rear screen being described as like the G21 rear, albeit deeper (or was it wider?) ...or was it the G15 rear? Oh, I give up.

The Birmingham outfit will make me one I've no doubt, but it would have been so nice to have had the correct screen as a template to get that slight curvature just right.

Exactly!
Just testing you Geoff...
I was expecting you to reply:

Wake up at the 'rear'! hehe
