Best chassis considerations (G4 Replica build)
Discussion
Howdy folks,
I'm currently in the planning phases for doing a G4 build, I'm torn between following the original specification and completely changing it - Making a car that just looks like a Ginetta but handles very very differently.
Thus the thought came to stop lurking and start posting.
Option A: Following standard plans
Option B: Use a pre-built locost, remove body, use Ginetta shell and mount on top
Option C: Find some one that builds to specification for a low cost.
I've seen a Tiger twin engine motorbike powered rolling chassis, which perked my eyes a lot...
Also thought of Turbo Busa.
Then wasn't sure that the car would just be too heavy to make bike engines a worthwhile consideration so then started thinking what about a V8, something which will put a fair amount of weight to help stabilise the thing and give significant power (and sound )
Thought I'd run this by you adventerous lot of opinions and considerations.
Very much a weekend toy, "drive what you bring" racing, and something for show's that is just that bit different.
