99p bid didn't last long!

Wonder what it will fetch?

Don't recognise the no. plate but just noticeable it's got one of my old GOC round stickers in the back screen.
Tried enlarging the engine bay pic to try and get the chassis no. but resolution not good enough.
Chassis probably rotten around rear springs area, but then you never know. Could be a bargain if you have plenty of spares hanging around.

It belonged to Ian Arnold of Wokingham, where it still is, up to 1989, so it's presumably still in his shed. Had a Hartwell 998.

Geoff
I'm trying very hard to place Ian. Right area to have turned up at our meetings in the 80s.

Did you know it was Steve Greensword's car at one point Geoff? Just looked on my old Register 1979 listings. Chassis 704, Silver Grey. Steve had sold it by then. Was 875 at that point and sprinted by prev owner, so had roll over bar etc. Ginetta rebuilt the engine with a new 875 block in 1976.
Unless that's all wrong!

Anyway, be interesting to see what it fetches. I reckon if it doesn't go mad someone is going to get a good restoration project there, unless the chassis is finished.

Hmm.
Ended by seller, no longer available. Someone's bought it outside ebay then?
