Removal keys stuck in 6000CD

Hello.

Today I thought I'd finally get around to fitting an aux connection to my 6000CD stereo (Fiesta '06)

I put 2 of the removal keys into the bottom slots, and they're now stuck.



I've tried putting the other 2 keys in to try and get it the unit out and remove them that way, but still no luck. The bottom keys won't even remove it


I've since found out that the keys only need to go in a cm or so, but these are shoved right in.

Idiocy, I know

Good news!!

I finally sat down this afternoon with my tools and I managed to get them out!

It was the feeler gauges that did it Stuck on of them in the slots on top of it and wiggled the key out
