Hi guys I am considering buying a fiesta St I went for a test drive and it was every bit what I expected and had read a credit to ford.

I got recommended by a friend to look at drivethedream website as the deals are pretty good but I was wonndering if there any other deals or websites offering anything on these cars. As I have seen on here people getting some better deals than those currently being advertised even better than buying a nearly new.

I was considering a new st3 as it has everything you could possibly want from what I can see, cheers for input guys.

I leased mine. Should probably work out the same as buying and selling in two years. I think you'd get about £11000 in two years if you came to sell.

A large number of these are being leased and will flood the used market.

Totally missed this post Birdster that looks like a cracking deal as i agree the market will be flooded so 5.2k for 2 years motoring in a cracking car seems pretty decent and then not tied into a baloon at the end that I wouldn't be able to afford anyway.

Guessing this is the deal you went for and the best you could find I had a quick look and nothing seems to come close, what was it like dealing with them?

Thanks for the info birdster great sum up of your experiences.

I emailed them today and have been accepted so just awaiting some info on what hey have available in stock or when they have a car coming in suitable for me.

Went for Panther blue St-3 10,000 miles 6+23 a only 189.16 a month so comes to 5400 total so much less than I would have had to pay on pcp or hpp. Although I will never have opportunity to buy the car at end looking at it in more detail I doubt I could of afforded to anyway. Who knows when the 2 years up like you said the used market will probably be flooded and I may pick one up for a steal if I so wanted.

Thanks for the link in first place I wouldn't of considered otherwise as all over companies charge so much more.

Also hope you enjoy the car, although I know you will.

Just had a email from gateway and apparently they have no stock until December. They have St-2 available but much prefer the St-3 spec.

A long wait but think it's worth it.

Yep I know I'll just regret not waiting the extra 8-9 weeks if I rush into it. Dealers may have one available sooner so one can hope.

Just saw on the website they have a focus st-3 for only 25 more a month thats quite tempting as well but unsure if its going to be as fun as the fiesta is to drive.

Ye I think that's a fair comparison of the two cars. The fiesta is more for me I think I want a car I can chuck around the roads near me as I recently moved up to leeds and the dales are calling.

No the car isn't ordered yet still in the enquiry stages.
