Making an 08 1.6 (Petrol) Focus quicker..

Evening all,

Scraping the barrel here. Bought a ford Focus back in May, and i'd prefer it to be quicker.

What (relatively) cheap mods can i do to make it quicker? I've searched remaps as I understand they're kind of a go-to, but the one i found only gives a 9bhp gain.

Please advise

Points to note: Getting a new car is currently not an option, unfortunately
