Right!

I had 4 new tyres fitted to the Mondeo 4 weeks ago. They were the standard size for the Zetec S 225/40/R18 IIRC.

Since they have been fitted I have been getting a 'wobble' from the back end. Wobble is maybe not the right word because it is not sideways, it is up and down. It feels like the tyre is either not round or the wheel is not balanced correctly and you only feel the vibration at motorway speeds. This problem did not exsist before the fitting of the new tyres.

I thought the balancing was the problem at first and have therefore had the wheels re-balanced a further four times, without success - what the hell can it be???

When the wheels were re-balanced (by a different garage to the one that fitted the tyres) they said that the wheel rims were not bent so I've ruled this out - can tyres be anything but round??????

It's driving me up the piggin wall now so any advice greatly welcome!
