Orange Focus ST in Banbury?

I often see this car around, just wondering if the owner is on here? It sounds like an Audi UR Quattro rally car. I can't recall the reg no.

I'm guessing it's severely non-standard, since it kept up with my V8 Maserati QP up the hill near Morrisons a while ago

Nope, I don't have a private plate. Mine starts with RY04. If the car you saw had a "V8" prefix on the number plate, then it could be one of the other PH members that I know of.
