As many of you are aware I have previously arranged for a group buy of some Union Flag design TVR badges as you may have seen on cars at various TVR meets.

The badges with lugs for the bonnet sold out a while ago but I have received numerous enquiries from people wanting to get one for their car, so I have decided to get another batch made.

Considering a much simpler to make standard TVR badge costs around £50, they offer exceptional good value and look great too!

Please see descriptions and photographs of the 2 lugs options below. If you are interested in any badges, please complete the form here: http://www.tvrbadges.co.uk/ and I can send you the payment details.

Badges will be ready for despatch in approx 3 weeks.

BADGE OPTIONS

1) Large Badge with 2 M5 thread x 25mm long lugs
Size: 96mm x 35mm x 3mm thickness
Enamelled in Vitreous 3 colours & finished in polished Chrome
Comes complete with flange nuts to fix to car and 1mm Black foam gasket to protect paint and help with any surface uneveness.
Estimated Price: £29 + £3.65P&P

2) Large Badge with 2 M5 thread x 25mm long lugs
Size: 96mm x 35mm x 3mm thickness
Enamelled in Vitreous 3 colours & finished in Gold
Comes complete with flange nuts to fix to car and 1mm Black foam gasket to protect paint and help with any surface uneveness.
Estimated Price: £30 + £3.65 P&P

I also have a limited number of badges of the same size with an adhesive back and smaller ones with an adhesive back which people have used to stick under their side indicators or on the back of the car. Details and photos of these can be seen on the older thread here: http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0...

Cheers,

Tim

Hi

I will email everyone who completes the form with payment details. The price won't change from the above. If you are able to send payments fairly promptly then it will make the admin easier so I can record who has paid then I will update this thread when I know exact delivery date but should be 3 weeks.

In about a weeks time I need to confirm how many of each finish we want (Gold/Chrome). The majority I will get in Chrome as that has previously been much more popular, so if anyone wants to guarantee getting a gold one, please complete the form ASAP as it could be sometime before there are enough people for another batch.

Cheers

Thanks for various payments and form completion mentioned above.

I believe I have finally caught up with all emails and sending out payment details to those who have ordered a badge so far. If you havn't received my email please let me know.

I have confirmed the plating options with the manufacturer now, so only a few Gold ones still available which I got them to make on top of those who have already ordered. The rest will be in Chrome.

There are still plenty of spares in the order available so if you are still interested then please complete form as mentioned above and i'll send you payment details. May have to be quick if you want to ensure you get a Gold one.

Cheers.

Hi All,

Manufacturer has confirmed that I will receive the badges next week some time so should be able to get some posted out by the end of next week. Unfortunately I am away all weekend (7th-9th) and out a couple of evenings so time may be slightly limited, so depending on when they arrive i'm not sure I will have time to post them all but will try my best to post ASAP and you should all receive by about 15th Sept.

All depends what day they arrive!

There are still spares available if anyone else wants one.

Cheers

Tim

All badges ordered and paid for up until 5th September have been posted today, so you should receive in the next few days.

There are a few people who ordered badges, but have not yet paid. I will try and send out reminders next week about these.

If anyone else would like one, I do still have some available.

Cheers

Glad the badges have been getting delivered OK. smile

All Gold badges with lugs are now sold (subject to payment being received on a few badges). I do have a few Gold badges with adhesive backs though.

I still have plenty of Bonnet badges with lugs in Chrome if anyone else would like one.

I have had a number a messages from people recently who are interested in getting a bonnet badge with the threaded lugs, so I am going to get another batch made. I've been a bit short of time recently so will do an imaginatively titled '2013 TVR Union Flag Badge Thread' later.

For now, I just thought I would put up a photo of a different finish I got a sample made up of last time which is a Black Nickel finish. Looks nice and more 'stealth' I guess, particularly on some colour cars (plus hides the dirt for those of us who don't wash as often!).

So next time I could offer a choice of Chrome, Gold or Black Nickel finish.

A couple of photos for now for those who are interested:

Hi all, I got a new batch last week but was then away for a few days and been manic at work so I will try and update details in a new thread and send details to those interested in the next few days.

I have limited stocks of Gold and black so get in quick if you want those, got more of the Chrome than other colours.

Only a few ones with adhesive backs available so I you want one of those then need to be quick. Also a very small number of smaller side badges in Chrome/Gold left over.

New batch have improved slightly shorter threaded lugs (20mm) than previous ones (25mm) so are a better fit and closer to original badges. Hopefully they should go on a Tuscan without needing to be trimmed now.

Spacing of the lugs is the same as original badges so should fit straight in the existing holes.

Will update ASAP, just mega busy with work at the moment. Prices have gone up by £1 to last time as manufacturing, materials, postage cost increased slightly.

Chrome are £30, Gold/Black £31 plus £4.20 P&P
Adhesive backed ones are £25 Chrome, Gold/Black £26 plus £2.50 P&P

Added Chrome badges with lugs into classifieds earlier, will get gold/black and adhesive backed in classifieds sometime soon too.

Will be at Silverstone Classic on Saturday in a couple of weeks if anyone wants to collect there and save postage costs.
