Accept responsibility you arse, so much grief you cause
By the way you want and need a Norton Domiracer, by far THE best bike of the recent NEC show, and I'd have one in an instant if they ever decided to produce it an any numbers, and I'm not as old as you !

That's a lovely looking bike.....I have to confess, that in addition to my need for a cafe racer, I have for quite a few years now harboured the desire to buy a GPZ900 and undertake a full nut and bolt rebuild. One of the early bikes, rebuilding it to the highest possible standard, totally mint, but all in yellow, with no decals or stickers, completely plain. it was after all, the first 'superbike'..... Or maybe pink... Many years ago a good mate had his Cosworth 1500 Lotus 7 sprayed pink. We all said Noooo..... But he did It anyway, and when finished, much to our surprise, it looked fecking stunning.... Or maybe just the frame in pink, and the rest in yellow
Wotcha think guys?

Yep that's the baby It was a few years after the film came out I got the ZX1000, which it was called in the handbook, but was sold as the ZX10..... IIRC it also featured in Mad Max (the GPZ900)
The ZX10 was the fastest production road bike ever tested by MCN, I think in 1989.... I may be wrong coz my memory's crap, but they managed a top speed of 168mph, which was subsequently exceeded a few years later by the ZZR1100 which topped 170mph....
I think the GPZ came into the UK in 1984, and topped 150mph....
Still double our current max road speed limit in 2013... I bought my Z in 1990, it was about 6 months old with about 1500 miles on it.. The memories of how quick it was still blow me away today
Just read up a bit on the RG500... it had a power to weight ratio of over 600bhp/tonne (dry without rider) Through a skinny back tyre with a 70Kg rider it was still well over 400bhp/tonne
I'm thinking that's a scary amount of power on a seriously light bike with not alot of rubber at the back... 400bhp/tonne is rather alot to handle on a four wheel drive car... What the feck must it be like on a motorcycle

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe I've seen any mention of Harley Davidson in this thread?? It's clear that bikes and Tiv's inspire like minded people, I think it's some kind of 'nutter' factor
Mate of mine (Harley Pilot on here) bought a 4.2 Cerb earlier this year, and he's totally smitten.. Get's the whole TVR 'thing' (you get it or you don't).... I'm thinking though that if you're a Harley type biker, you're probably not a TVR kind of guy....
I have the greatest respect for the Harley brigade, on the road their road craft is impeccable, they're well organised (when in convoy), have respect for other road users, and when I've met them en masse have been great people, no different to our TVR community...
Some years ago I had one for a weekend, I have no idea what model it was, other than it was 1340cc, and had the Harley performance upgrade. I think it did 0-60 in three minutes

Triumph Bonneville made way finally for the Chimaera to go in the garage after 7 years in the rain.
Miss that bike but it was a choice that had to be made.

Indian Chief Vintage on order. It's actually here at the dealers (number 1717 of 1901) but no point in collecting it until the worst of the winter weather is behind, plus it'll be on a pretty neat '14' plate
At 111cu.in for a V-twin it's not far off being a quarter of the Tuscan's 427cu.in (1818cc vs 7008cc). Looking forward to it
I'll have to dig out some photos of bikes from my yoof before I discovered cars. In a shoebox somewhere there'll be a Norton Commando Fastback LR (that I now understand was VERY rare; didn't know at the time), a z900 and a Z1R. Still have a GPz1100 in the garage.
