With the current thread of public perception of tvr's I hav to go and add my pennies worth today.
Just as i pulled into the Uxbridge car show I broke down. The kind marshall pushed me aside and on to the grass.only cause i was blocking everybody from getting in.The clutch peddle has gone all limp(oooooh err)and the cable was still connected so the cylinder had stuck in.Well the hour waiting for the rac was hell people asking me to come on in or let us listen to the engine ect,When I explained all but one laughed and said it is a tvr what do you expect. With the rac there comments just came flooding in.
We managed to get the car going as the rac guy has a cobra and had sympathy for me.
Like to hear of any other shit places to break down.

Suppose i'l have to get used to it

I guarantee that you'd have had plenty of sympathy from us on the TVR stand - or did you visit and I missed you?

AF

I was there had a chat with gavin between 1.30-3.30.I was wearing a black pistonheads baseball cap(the only 1 I saw all day)and looking at the yellow beast

I saw your car (Goldish in colour?) as I left the show around 1PM, I had no idea you'd broken down, I though it was a marshalls car being where it was.

Sorry to hear this, but don't let it put you off owning one.

Before I got mine I used to think they were fairly unreliable as I used to see them with the bonnets up a lot - Now I own one, I know from experience that most bonnets are up as the owners try to cool the car down after a blat.

Keep your chin up.

Dave.
It may have been me about 1ish but mine is silver or some other poor bugger had a bad day
