Not sure if everyone follows the "TVR in USA" threads, some very interesting developments appear to be afoot (if they prove to be true).

In the interest of engaging the views of the wole forum (informed or otherwise ):

Mclaren cars are going to take over/amalgamate. Peter Wheeler is going to be taking more of a back seat until control is eventually relinquished. All production will 'eventually' cease in Blackpool as the factory in Brazil takes over. As far as I am aware the TVR engines are to be properly developed and the cars will also see the dramatic benefit of investment. M power is not a choice that I am aware of. The new 'company' will aim at the higher end of the market and compete directly with other supercar makers. To be compatable with the US market the cars will have to change.

Fairy Nuff. The poster I quoted cross-posted on a number of the threads the same piece & as I said elsewhere, one of 2 situations is true:

(1) he has real knowledge (however unlikely it might sound)
(2) he's trolling because in his only other post to the forum he's pissed off that the chassis on his Chimarea is falling to bits.
