My list would be...
Thanks Alex, I would get the engine checked out prior to purchase - The state of the engine would be the major one. If it has not run much, then it might not be in an overly happy condition.
- State of the interior - has it been stored well, not cracked/bleached etc.
- Tyres (probably need changing)
- State of chassis - probably not an issue though assuming it has been stored well

I have seen it in the flesh. It is sparkling. It's undercrackers are as clean as VarleyHyd's Sag.
The highland green paint job is very nice.
I would, as would a few of the TVR lads up here in Scotland who have also seen it, but I am more a Tuscan man myself. Tuscan's are quicker than Sags too ;O)
Hi, are you saying that my tuscan s convert will be quicker than a saggie..????The highland green paint job is very nice.

S'funny I distinctly remember the TVR forums being a much nicer place in the distant past.
Ok if you really want to know I have only been offerd £24000 for my Tuscan 2006 convert s, so I would have to,pay £36000 to change , for that sort of money I could buy another griff and a Chim for my collection,
That saggy is the dogs nuts but £36000 difference, I don't think so.......
Hope that answers you question Hughesie, so get your cash out and grab a bargain .......All the best Gordon

I should have brought a Saggy when they were low thirties, never mind looks like I have missed the boat on this one,the one for sale at HHC does look good value compared to what other people want for there's at the moment in the adverts ,All the best, see you at a few meetings soon.....

Agreed, but many places like to do that and will often do that. Such is life.
Of course, I don't know how much work Gordon's car needs. It might be the trade in price
reflects the spend the garage thinks will be needed to bring to car up to sale quality.
Only guessing, but factors like that are always part of the equation.
Hi Alex long time no see, if a garage has to spend more than £100 to get my car up to sale condition I would be surprised , Of course, I don't know how much work Gordon's car needs. It might be the trade in price

I will keep it Keith, I have always longed for a saggy but the difference in trade in prices are just not on, I just can't see a difference of around £35000 in the cars.........I have a pension coming out in April so might just go and negotiate with cash and like you keep the vert as she is such a lovely faultless tvr.
It's just that bloody itch that comes back when I see a lovely example like the HHC car.....

Hi Gordon, nothing has come through so I've sent you a PM instead...
Many thanks, just found out that was the car I went to see at TVR MADS about 4 years ago with my best friend, he brought it only to sell it on to racing green a year later, we were told it was going to a desert country as all the cooling system was changed?..Gassing Station | General TVR Stuff & Gossip | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
