Topcats six speed

Picked the Tuscan up from Topcats this evening with a new T56 magnum box in it. Great job done by Warren and the lads, smooth changes and cruises at 80mph at 2100 rpm. What with that and the other work to eradicate some more of the problems left by the original conversion company it's running the best it ever has. Really looking forward to a few long runs in it now especially Le Mans the long round 😃

Gear changes are so smooth and will apparently get even better. You can select any gear in any order, I went from 6th to 4th to 2nd with no problem and also other combinations just to see if I could. When you are cruising along in top the car feel so relaxed at motorway speeds. Haven't had it long enought to tell but I should imaging the mpg has been vastly improved as long as I keep my foot out of it. Also the clutch parts are cheaper and avalible as individual parts so should keep future costs down. I will be putting some milage on it ASAP so I'll report back as it gets used more. Cost wise best speak to warren as mine also had a lot of other problems, like the engine was crooked in the frame etc so my cost included a lot of other work.

Darren I bet those carbon bits look good on the speed 6 have you fitted them yet ?
