WARNING fire !!

ok here we go !! Has anyone recently re done the interior of their TVR or any other vehicle on that matter ?
Read on , after stripping the griff and using this state of the art foil backed insulation that is fire retardent by the way ?
Anyway finessed all my templates but the last one the one that goes up against the footwell near the hottest part opposition the manifold . My car s old insulation was very chared and the fact the car never caught fire astounds me !! So I thought I would set fire to the old insulation ;-)? Guess what yes you can't set it on fire it will flame up and will extinguish ( TVR got that right bless em ) anyway this is the best bit , as the new insulation was going back in this area I decided in my wisdom to set a small piece on fire !!!'
YES the BAst@£d stuff went up petrol and ended up in a charcoal ...

So please please check your insulation ?
I am now at war with the company who sold me the stuff !!

You have misunderstood :-)? I set fire to an off cut before I stuck the stuff in to make sure it is ok ,
And it's not ok !!
So I won't be fitting it :-(
