Insurance and thatcham immobilisers

Ive been ringing around for insurance cover today and had a real good price with footman James with an agreed value I also get to keep the car in the event of it being written off with no buy back fee.
One of the terms is the car has to have a thatcham immobilisers fitted.
I don't think there that expensive but ant they standard on the chims? Push in thingy next to the ignition.
I had the same on a car years ago and im sure it was a thatcham approved then.
