Hi folks, I was wondering what I should look at. My 450 chim doesn't get the driving it should do due to work commitments, so it it usually stays in the garage on a trickle charger for 3 to 5 weeks at a time between drives. When it does go out, it start first time...settles into a fast idle....then when I drive off it then tends to splutter a little and wanting to stall, and if it does its slow to want to catch when turning over.
I had one occasion after a day out, it did similar whilst returning after a long drive whilst negotiating some town driving. It did a similar thing by not wanting to rev and stalling, then not wishing to start. After 3 or 4 attempts it was ok.

Anyone any idea's?

P's. Had a great drive over the peak district today.....never missed a beat throughout, with the exception of taking it out of the garage.

It's not a starting issue, more a running issue when getting on the hotter side of normal after traffic, otherwise it's great on a run, especially after cleaning the stepper motor after advice on the owners club forum.
I've bought a new coil, leads dissi cap and arm, along with a new amplifier, so i'll try them on my next day.

Also advised to check the hose on the throttle pot, plus there 'could' be an issue with the little black box under the steering column.

....joys of tvr ownership...and I consider mine a good one! Lol
