New TVR book is a good read
Discussion
Hey folks, just a heads up if you haven't read 'TVR: Cars of the Peter Wheeler era' by Ralph Dodds.
I've been looking at TVR's for a while now and am always hungry for more info on the mark, especially the Chimaera, Cerbera and Tuscan as these are the models that I'm particularly lusting after. I ordered this book back in June as a birthday pressie for myself and eagerly awaited its release which was slated for August. However, the release day came and went with no book and as the weeks passed I started to lose hope that I'd see this book at all. I came close to cancelling the order a few times but, a few weeks ago, I got a message from Amazon informing me the book had finally been given a revised release date, whoop!
I received the book yesterday and I'm very glad that I didn't cancel the order. It's a cracking read, full of information and history on TVR as well as develpment info on each of the models mentioned above and many more. Glossy pictures and owners stories round the book out nicely and reading through it has only served to increase my appetite to own one of Blackpools finest.
Not being a TVR owner or having read any other books on the mark, I don't know how much new info this publication offers but I will certainly find it of great use when searching out the right TVR for me.

Beastie, thanks for the heads up on the Steve Heath book. Nuts and bolts books are just my ticket as i'm very much a hands on owner so this will be going on the chrimbo list for sure, cheers!
Speedy, as gorgeous as your Tuscan is, I've had a good look through but sadly can't find any pictures of it in the book. Sorry pal.
