Road Trip USA 2016

As has been eluded too in a few threads over the last few months, Jack Valiant and I are going a small jaunt across the pond. In the TVRs!
The starting point will be San Fransisco before heading down the west coast, across to Texas and then back to San via Las Vegas. It will be a mix of driving and doing stuff - like a NASCAR Experience. It'll average out about 150-miles a day.
We will be looking to head out on or around the 11th of May and returning 4-weeks later.
Others are welcome. So if you're interested please consider the following;
This isn't going to be cheap. At the moment we're budgeting for around £12k (per car) for the 4-weeks in total.
If four or more cars go then we can get a very hefty discount on shipping the cars.
The beauty of the USA is that moving cars about the country is pretty easy so people can come for just part of the trip if they prefer.
There is one deadline. We need to book the cars on the ships on or before the 6th of January. So definative commitment will be required by then.
Insurance for the trip will be, imo, vital. The car cover will need to cover interstate travel, breakdown and collision waiver.
We're planning on heading to areas and spending time doing things. We're going to visit the garages you see on Discovery - West Coast Customs, Gas Monkey etc... - so you may be filmed. If you're not comfortable with this just let us know.
Chris and I will use the Xmas break to flesh out an itinerary. We'll be booking in Jan.

Evening folks. Apologies for the lack of info. Had a wall collapse just before Christmas and there has been more work than anticipated here in Kuwait.
Chris has a source for insurance, happy to post details here for those interested. Mileage is averaged for the whole trip so some days will be loads, some will be none.

Project meeting this morning and looks like we're going to trim this to 2-weeks for a couple of reasons - one being to join the S-Club Tour at the end of May
We're still trying to ressolve the insurance issue. All is easy except for covering the State of Californication. Will hopefully get a solution in the next 7-days.
If solved then booking the car ferry, flights and visas will follow quickily.
