Has anyone looked at fitting the inlet manifold and super charger from the 4.6 Range Rover?

With the interest in Super Chargers and Turbos shown on the forums just wondered if anyone had looked at this.

That is what I have been wondering as I have no idea. Just happened to come across a ebay listing from a brand new Range Rover charged inlet manifold so then looked for a charger to match. They seems to mount fairly low so might fit under the bonnet. Just thought one of those interested in such forced induction might have done soem homework on it.

You sure it's from a Rv8 4.6 and not the later engine... BMW?
Again nope not had any interest in Range Rovers so know nothing about them really in fact was not aware that they had a BMW lump in them. Will try some more web surfing out of curisosity.

Thought they had an Eaton supercharger. Have just found some late 4.2 V8 ones listed and yes those are Land Rover-Jaguar ones.

There's a 2014 jaguar s/c engine on eBay for five grand - with 550bhp - would be an incredible conversion if it'll fit...
Hmmm now where did I put that shoe-horn?laugh

Seriously as some have managed to fit 6 litre yank lumps it should be possible.
