Hi I'm a new member here and it seems like a place to learn. I was reading a a discussion from April of 2013 about moving front suspension mounting points out 2 in. I'm in the process of converting a FC car to a FB car and to clear the chain I believe I will have to move out the rear suspension pick up points out about 2 in. Does anyone know what that will do to the handling? Thanks for any help

Reply for those in the unknown 2 in means TWO INCHES, FC means Formula continental and FB means Formula B or 1000 Both real race cars 150 to 180 +MPH or miles per hour.

Its upper and lower control arm. I'm looking to move all pickup points out about 2 inches each side

All the control arms will be exactly the same length as they are now. The pick up points on the frame will be moved out 2 inches each side. I don't think it would be the same as putting spacers behind the wheels. I'm counting on it lowering the COG and the extra track increasing corner handling.
