ABS and the MoT Test
Discussion
On another, car specific, forum I frequent, a chap was selling a car, a 92 model I think, where the entire ABS system had been removed (along with a few other suspension, brake and engine mods) and was sugesting it would have a full MoT.
Can you actually do that and pass an MoT if it was fitted originally?
Personally, I'm not bothered about ABS as I drive two cars without, just wondering really.

Thanks Magic & Old Merc
On the Merc were there some varieties of the model without?
Would I need to remove the relucter ring & sensor?
Assume I would need to remove the ABS unit under the dash and replumb pipework but this could be a lifesaver for an old car destined to be broken...
Will the MoT inspector just accept it or am I likely to have a fight...?
