BMW e36 ticking/ clicking noise from front wheels
Discussion
Hi guys,
I am having problems with my e36 and it is driving me mad.
When i turn left there is a clicking/ticking noise that comes from the front left wheel..... it sounds like someone tapping a tin or metal contracting.
It appears to increase in frequency as speed increases and doesn't happen until some lock is applied.
I thought it might be something catching the wheel like the ABS cable as i have recently fitted HSD coilovers with no mounts but everything is tied out of the way and i cant see it touching the wheel.
I have removed the calliper and nothing is stuck in there or fouling etc.
Any ideas? I thought possibly wheel bearing but surely that would grind etc.
Any help would be great before i set my car on fire.
