Just had 4 new tyres and have a slight wobble in the steering at 70mph.

Had a look at the wheels and they didn't use any stick on weights, just clip on weights on the inner rim. They are marked IAW Zn which I read are ok for alloys, but I thought to properly balance you need weights on the outer edge too ( or stick on weights in the middle). Is this correct? Have the garage cut corners?

Thanks, guessing they haven't bothered to do it properly then. Also I wouldn't really want clip on weights on the outside where they would be visible.

Suspect it is more likely a user error! They'd also overinflated by 10psi!

Luckily they put them on the inside so not visible but will be asking them to replace with stick on weights
