Should I be bothered by '22 dated tyres being fitted to C63?

Hi All, just after some opinions/thoughts per the title. My C63 went to Mercedes (it goes to main dealer as the car still has an extended warranty) last week for a service and complimentary health check which included a report on tyre condition. The report noted that the front tyres had 4 to 5mm across the majority of each but that the very inside edge was wearing a bit faster than the rest, suggesting tracking/geometry needs addressing and that the tyres will need to be kept an eye on.
Unrelated to this, the car was booked in for a wheel refurb this week for a little bit of curb rash on one wheel. Not long after I dropped the car off they call to say that I needed a pair of fronts because one tyre was down to the cords and sent a picture showing this on the inside edge of one. I was a little bit surprised to hear this given the car had been at Mercedes 3 days before that and it was missed (also annoyed I had missed it as I'm normally on top of stuff like this).
I agreed to have the fronts replaced with some Pilot Sport 4s and picked the car up earlier today. When looking at the tyres I noticed the date stamps are 1522 on the tyres meaning they are close to 2 years old already which I was surprised by as I would've thought they would be at least '23 stamped given it is now 2024. Is this something I should be irritated by/will the tyres be affected by the age at all?

Interesting what you say about Black Circles. I had always assumed that they and their ilk were cheap because they were shifting 'old stock', Wetherspoons style. And nothing wrong with that as long as you go in with your eyes open.
